Job summary

A reputable HR consultancy based in the UK seeks a People Advisor to provide HR support and coordinate recruitment activities. The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years' experience in HR and strong knowledge of UK employment law. You will work closely with employees and managers to provide day-to-day HR advice, support learning and development initiatives, and maintain accurate employee records. This full-time role offers a salary between £40,000 and £45,000 per annum and provides a hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

Duties include:
  • Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to employees and managers on employee relations, performance management, policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate recruitment activities including job postings, candidate screening, interviews and onboarding.
  • Support learning and development initiatives, including induction programs, internal training and career development conversations.
  • Maintain HR systems and accurate employee records; produce routine people metrics and reports to inform decision-making.
  • Contribute to culture and engagement activities, recognition programs, and initiatives that promote diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Assist with change management activities, workforce planning and internal communications during organisational changes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies while maintaining confidentiality and professional integrity.
Skills/Experience required:
  • Min 3-5 years' experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and Best Practice
