Peer Specialist – VA Bedford Healthcare System

This Peer Specialist position may only be filled with a Veteran that meets statutory requirements that are detailed in the qualifications section.

The Peer Specialist position is in Social Work Service at the VA Bedford Healthcare System (Bedford, Massachusetts). This position is full‑time at 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be Veterans who meet statutory requirements.
• Applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of the announcement (11/25/2025).
• Time‑in‑Grade: Current federal employees who have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time‑in‑grade requirements by the closing date of the announcement.
• For a GS‑06 position, applicants must have served 52 weeks at the GS‑05 level.
