A leading educational institution in the United Kingdom is seeking a Higher Level Sports and PE Teaching Assistant (HLTA) on a fixed-term contract until July 2026. The role involves designing and overseeing a professional coaching and physical education program for students. The successful candidate must possess a sports qualification and experience working with children. This part-time role offers a salary of £18,059 per annum, with working hours of 25 hours per week during term time, Monday to Friday.
Contract: Fixed Term Contract until July 2026
Working Pattern: Term time only (39 weeks)
Hours: 25 hours per week, 11am‑4:15pm Monday‑Friday
Actual Starting Salary (pro‑rata): £18,059 per annum
Salaries are paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
Role: Higher Level Sports and PE Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Design, implement and oversee a coordinated programme of high‑quality, professional coaching and physical education that is developmentally appropriate, responsive to the needs of all children and aligned with the academy’s goal of increasing participation in PE and school sport.
The successful candidate will have a sports qualification and experience of working with children.
