Job Title: PCEO Supervisor - HC623021

Location: Based at Aldershot but also responsible for line management of staff at the following stations – Aldershot, Havant/Waterlooville, Yateley, Petersfield. Travel to different locations across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight (outside of those stations) may also be required.

Salary: SO1 (£37,020.00 - £39,726.00 per annum) - 12.5% shift allowance and 18.47hrs Weekend Enhancement – further information in the Information Sheet

Contract: Full-time

About the role

Currently located in 19 Police Stations across Hampshire and IOW, the Front Counters team are dedicated to providing the best possible service to the public and internal stakeholders.

The PCEO Supervisor is responsible for the day to day running of all Front Counters.

You will have line management responsibilities for PCEO’s based out of Aldershot Police Station and when you are the Duty Supervisor, you will have responsibility for all PCEO’s who are on duty throughout Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. You will ensure that a high level of public service is maintained, through regular contact with the team.

We are looking for candidate who:
  • Is qualified to QCF Level 3 or has comparable work experience.
  • Has proven experience of supervising staff, including welfare, attendance and performance management.
  • Has a full UK driving license (please note that you will need access to your own vehicle with business insurance as pool cars will not be available for the required travel between different locations).
  • Has proven experience of working in a customer / public service environment.
  • Can manage and implement change.
  • Can provide advice and guidance to support the resolution of sensitive and complex issues.
  • Has knowledge of Windows based Microsoft software and can confidently use IT equipment.
