The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources — including recruitment, compliance, staff onboarding, performance management, and employee relations — ensuring alignment with UK employment laws and the school’s values and culture.This is a hybrid position based in Stratford (E15), offering flexibility to work from home and on-site as required.⸻Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the school’s HR operations, policies, and procedures. • Oversee recruitment and onboarding of teachers and administrative staff. • Ensure compliance with UK employment law and safer recruitment standards. • Manage staff records, contracts, and performance appraisals. • Provide advice and support to senior leadership on HR strategy and employee relations. • Handle disciplinary, grievance, and capability matters professionally and confidentially. • Monitor attendance, leave, and working hours in line with company policy. • Support professional development, wellbeing, and retention initiatives. • Liaise with payroll and finance to ensure accurate staff payments and deductions. • Maintain HR documentation and reporting systems with confidentiality and accuracy.⸻Requirements • Proven experience in HR management or a senior HR role (preferably in education or similar sectors). • Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices. • CIPD Level 5 or higher (or equivalent professional qualification) preferred. • Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills. • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism. • Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively. • Confident using digital tools (Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, HR systems, etc.).⸻Employment Details • Type: Part-Time • Work Mode: Hybrid (Remote & Stratford Office) • Salary: Competitive — based on experience and qualifications • Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possibleHow to ApplyInterested candidates should send their CV and a short cover letter outlining their relevant experience to official@alrushd.co.uk.
