A community organization is seeking a volunteer Pantry Admin Assistant to help manage supplies effectively. This role involves checking stock levels and placing orders with suppliers via phone. Ideal candidates will have an attention to detail, be skilled in data entry, and feel confident in contacting suppliers. We are looking for volunteers to help with the administration of the Pantry. This volunteer role will help us to order stock for the coming week.
Summary of main activities and tasks:
• Helping with stock checks to keep us on track of our supplies
• Making telephone calls to obtain and order supplies
Qualities / experience / skills
You will have an eye for detail and be confident using a laptop and completing data entry tasks.
You will feel confident that you are able to place orders with suppliers as necessary.
