Job Title: Paint Sprayer

Location: Wombwell, South Yorkshire

Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday (with overtime available)

About The Role

We are partnering with a forward-thinking engineering and manufacturing client based in Wombwell who has a bursting-at-the-seams order book secured well into 2026. Due to continued growth and sustained demand, they are looking to recruit an experienced Paint Sprayer to join their production team.

This role offers long-term stability within a growing business that invests in its people, equipment, and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare components for painting, including cleaning, masking, and surface preparation
  • Apply paint coatings using spray equipment to a high-quality finish
  • Work with a range of coatings, including primers, topcoats, and specialist finishes
  • Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met
  • Carry out touch-ups and rework where required
  • Maintain spray equipment and keep the paint area clean and organised
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental procedures
  • Work closely with production teams to meet output targets and deadlines
Skills & Experience Required
  • Proven experience as a Paint Sprayer in an engineering or manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Knowledge of surface preparation techniques and paint application methods
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good understanding of health and safety requirements
Desirable (but not essential)
  • Experience with industrial, automotive, or powder coating processes
  • Familiarity with working to technical specifications or job sheets
  • Experience spraying metal components
