As we move on to new projects, the studio that brought you Baldur’s Gate 3 & Divinity: Original Sin 2 is looking for an Outsource Producer to join the team and help us in crafting the high calibre games our fans have come to expect.

Outsource Producer
Responsibilities
  • Production and Partner Management (≈90%)
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate outsourced work across internal and external teams.
  • Track progress and follow up regularly with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure outsourced content meets Larian’s quality expectations.
  • Maintain smooth collaboration between internal leads and external vendors.
  • Support forecasting and resource planning based on project needs.
  • Vendor Scouting and Evaluation (≈10%)
  • Research and evaluate new outsourcing partners, studios, and individuals.
  • Identify boutique or emerging teams that fit Larian’s quality bar and working style.
  • Review pitches and shortlist bids for stakeholders.
  • Present options objectively, balancing creative goals and cost considerations.
  • Relationship Building
  • Build and maintain long‑term relationships with trusted outsourcing partners.
  • Foster open, respectful communication across time zones and disciplines.
  • Help external partners understand Larian’s culture, processes, and standards.
  • This is a full‑time, on‑site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration and creativity.
Requirements
  • Proven experience managing external development partners in the games industry.
  • Strong understanding of the full game development lifecycle.
  • Experience using production and workflow tools such as Confluence, Shotgun, or Jira.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
  • Awareness of regional outsourcing rates and production costs.
Nice to have
  • Existing network of coding or co‑development outsourcing partners.
  • Experience working in both development and publishing environments.
  • Multilingual or international collaboration experience.
  • Passion for video games, especially if you’ve played and loved Larian’s titles.
