A child-focused organization is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee multiple children's homes in Wigan and Leigh. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in residential care and an NVQ Level 5 Diploma. Job Title: Operations Manager & Responsible Individual – Children’s Residential Services
Location: Wigan / Leigh / Greater Manchester
Salary: £70,000 per annum
Working Hours: Full-time
Service Type: Children’s Homes
Service Users: Young People with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and Learning Disabilities (LD)
Homes Under Oversight: 5 homes in your first year, increasing to up to 8 homes in your second year (all within a close geographical area)
Qualification Required: NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in a senior leadership role within children’s residential care
Employment Type: Permanent
Ofsted Rating: Good and Outstanding (reports available on request)
