Operations Manager – OpenDoor (Amazon)

Full‑time position based in London, supporting WPP’s mission to deliver consistency, delivery excellence, and best‑in‑class service across Amazon’s diverse businesses (XCM, Prime Video, RMI, etc.).

Purpose

The Operations Manager will be the operational backbone, ensuring execution excellence and driving transformation initiatives for Amazon across the EMEA region.

About WPP & Opendoor

The partnership delivers next‑level productivity through focused people, platforms, and processes.

About the Role

Lead and coordinate operational activities, manage projects, and streamline processes to deliver outstanding results for Amazon.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Operations Director to support the client’s transformation ambitions in EMEA, focusing on automation and simplification.
  • Support the Operations Director in the delivery of system developments and migrations.
  • Implement and govern ways of working that drive efficiency.
  • Own projects and workstreams in partnership with the Operations Director.
  • Manage day‑to‑day workload and complete business tasks across the Operations team, writing and circulating process documents and ensuring timely data capture.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Operations Lead to deliver sufficient documentation and processes for the agency.
  • Work with internal and external counterparts (Tech, Buying, Planning, Finance and Media Owners) to ensure all plans are implemented efficiently and on time.
  • Deliver monthly finance processes with the credit controller, iron out issues, and report improvements.

  • Evidence of operational experience and project management.
  • Strong organizational skills and experience building and rolling out processes.
  • Results‑oriented with the ability to manage up.
  • Ideally a media background with a good understanding of media agency functions.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
