Job summary

A leading IT company in the UK is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to provide on-site support in Norwich. The role involves troubleshooting Windows and macOS systems, managing help desk tickets, and maintaining effective communication on issue resolution. Candidates should possess relevant experience in IT, hold a valid UK work permit, and be fluent in English. This part-time position requires flexibility with hours between 10-20 per week.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a valid work permit in UK.
  • Several years of experience in the IT field.
  • English fluency mandatory.

Responsibilities

  • Provide first- or second-level contact and problem resolution for customer issues.
  • Work with third-party vendors to remediate complex AV issues as needed.
  • Provide timely communication on issue status and resolution.
  • Maintain ticket updates for all reported incidents.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot Windows OS, Microsoft Office & Cisco Jabber authorized.
  • Have basic knowledge of the Mac operating system to support Apple PC users.
  • Install, upgrade, support, and troubleshoot printers and computer hardware.
  • Perform remedial repairs on desktops, laptops, printers, and any other authorized peripheral equipment.
  • Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot problems associated with network connectivity and workstation hardware/software.
