Job Description

We're seeking a Passionate Part-Time Early Years Practitioner at Acton (W3 8GJ). Flexible shifts are available: Part-time (2–3 full days, 7:30am‑6:30pm, 20–30 hours/week) or Short shifts (Early Shift 7:30am‑1:00pm, Late Shift 1:00pm‑6:30pm). Monday to Friday, year‑round. Term‑time only applicants will not be considered.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and activities for children in a safe, stimulating environment.
  • Deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework in line with nursery policy.
  • Observe and record each child’s progress, supporting their development and learning journey.
  • Ensure children are never left unsupervised.
  • Participate in the key person system and maintain up‑to‑date learning profiles for key children.
  • Work in partnership with parents/carers and assist with parent meetings and open days.
  • Support the safety, security, and cleanliness of the nursery environment.
Person Specification
  • Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare & Education or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS.
  • Nursery experience and Key Person experience.
  • First Aid qualified.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Enhanced DBS and references.
