A regional development agency is seeking a Non-Executive Director to assist in the strategic development of Doncaster Sheffield Airport. This role involves attending board meetings approximately 12 times a year and provides the opportunity to influence long-term growth and sustainability in the aviation sector. Candidates with senior-level experience in aviation, transport, or customer-focused domains are encouraged to apply. Fly Doncaster is seeking a Non -E xecutive Director to support the reopening and operation of Doncaster Sheffield Airport .

Following the acquisition of DSA by City of Doncaster Council in March 2024, the role offers the opportunity to play a strategic part in the airport’s development. Working with the board, the successful candidate will provide sector expertise and constructive challenge to support long-term growth, sustainability and regional economic impact.

The role involves approximately 12 board meetings per year, with an initial appointment of 2–5 years. Applications are welcomed from those with senior level experience in aviation, transport, commercial delivery, customer focused environments or public private and regulated sectors.
