Qualifications

• Minimum of Level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent qualification as a mechanic.
• Valid UK driver's licence is required.
• Experience working with buses and coaches is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle faults and replace parts as needed.
• Perform routine inspections and servicing using handheld data capture devices.
• Attend roadside breakdowns and support vehicle recoveries.
• Road-test vehicles to confirm issues or check work after repairs.

Skills

Vehicle mechanical experience

Ability to obtain PCV licence

Experience working on HGV, bus or coach

Vehicle/autoelectrical experience
