Job summary

An established veterinary group in North West London seeks an emergency and critical care vet for their Night team. This role involves a rotation of 7 nights on and 21 nights off, allowing for travel opportunities. The ideal candidate should be passionate about emergency work and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Overview

Are you passionate about emergency work? Do you love getting stuck in, adapting to the situation and working in an exciting and fast paced environment? If that sounds like you, we have the perfect opening!

Our clients are a long-established award winning independent veterinary group looking for a small animal emergency and critical care vet to join their Night team in their fantastic recently refurbished veterinary hospital in North West London.

The role works on a rotation of 7 nights on, 21 nights off, 7 nights on, then 28 nights off, which is ideal for anyone who loves to travel or splits their time between different locations. Applicants will ideally be confident working sole charge and be passionate about emergency and critical care work. You will work well as part of a team and be supported nightly by an experienced RVN allowing you to always provide gold standard care.

The hospital has state of the art facilities and equipment, boasting a new CT scanner in their purpose-built CT imaging suite, ultrasound, digital x-ray, surgical theatres, prep areas, isolation and separate ward areas, ICU unit and much more. It provides first opinion, emergency and critical care as well as referral services and has various specialists and experienced clinicians in different fields who can be contacted for support and guidance on cases if ever required. This also means you will have a fantastic opportunity to see and work up a large variety of cases.

The hospital is only 30 minutes drive from Heathrow airport allowing easy access for international travel and provides great access to the city centre, greater London and the major motorway north and south. It has onsite parking and bus and underground routes stopping close by for commuting to and from work. With this location and varied rota, you will never be at a loss for time or things to do, see and/or visit.
