Job summary

A leading facilities management company is seeking a Domestic Assistant to help create a safe and welcoming environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Responsibilities include waste removal, using cleaning agents properly, and undertaking deep cleans as needed. The ideal candidate will have GCSE qualifications in Maths and English, effective communication skills, and an understanding of health and safety procedures. This role is based in Hull and East Yorkshire and operates Monday to Friday during night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
• Experience and knowledge of computer technologies.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other staff to ensure a safe and pleasant environment.
• Regularly remove waste and ensure correct disposal procedures are followed.
• Use cleaning agents safely and according to guidelines.
• Undertake deep cleaning and infection control cleans as needed.
• Report defective machinery to the Hotel Services Team Leader.
