A leading insurance provider based in Bolton is seeking a Motor Claims Handler to manage claims portfolios, provide customer service, and handle investigations. The role involves working part of the week from home and may require flexible arrangements. The ideal candidate will have experience in motor claims handling and insurance processes, strong communication skills, and the ability to solve problems effectively. This position offers a competitive salary and a range of employee benefits.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Motor Claims Handler to start a rewarding career with AXA Commercial based in our Bolton office. As part of our Commercial Claims team, you’ll help customers and brokers of AXA Commercial in the UK. You’ll take pride in working as part of an effective team and we’ll provide you with the opportunity to learn about new claims products. You’ll have excellent communication skills and the ability to build great relationships, in order to fully support our customers over the phone. We always put the Customer First in everything we do, so we want someone who strives to go the extra mile for them.
At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) in the future. Away from home means either attendance at one of our office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.
Full time, 35 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am and 5pm.
You’ll receive a comprehensive onsite induction and a 12‑week training programme at our Bolton Office. After training, once you demonstrate competency, you’ll transition to a hybrid working model, typically starting about six months after your start date, depending on your development and meeting quality and productivity metrics.
As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
This position has been defined as an Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) role under the IDD regime which means that, in addition to pre‑employment screening checks, the successful candidate will be subject to background screening every four years with an annual declaration in interim years.
