Qualifications

• Proven experience in motor engineering, ideally within an insurer or independent engineering.
• Strong ability to negotiate repair costs and manage salvage outcomes.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality, accurate engineering reports.
• Assess and negotiate repair costs throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Liaise with suppliers, repairers, and customers for a smooth claims process.

Skills

Qualified to I.A.E.A or ATA (VDA) standard

Experience in motor engineering

Ability to assess, value, and negotiate repair costs

Proficient in estimating platforms like Audatex and GT Motive

Education

Automotive engineering qualification
