A mental health support organization is seeking Mental Health Practitioners for their Integrated Community Response team in Salford. The role involves providing essential support to young people in crisis and requires a strong commitment to anti-discriminatory practices. Qualifications

  • Experience as a Youth Worker, Social Worker, Teacher, Counsellor, or similar roles.
  • Ability to deliver confidential and accountable practice.
  • Excellent safeguarding skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide de-escalation and early intervention support to distressed young people.
  • Travel to various locations across Salford and Manchester.

We are considering applications for a Mental Health Practitioners for our Integrated Community Response (ICR) team.

ICR mental health practitioners provide de-escalation and early intervention support to Young People experiencing high levels of distress in the community. Our ICR team are co-located with Early Help Teams across Salford and Manchester.

There are 2 posts available:

  • 1 practitioner will be based in Salford at the West Family Hub (Little Hulton)
  • 1 practitioner will be based in Salford Central Hub (Broughton)

The posts will also require the applicants to be able to travel to see young people across Salford and Manchester and require travel to 42nd Street main premises in Manchester.

  • Transferable skills from previous experience as a Youth Worker; Social Worker, Teacher; Counsellor; MHP in child and adult services; etc.
