Medical Secretary

If you hold a graduate visa, you are welcome to apply for this role however it is important to note that UHNM will be unable to offer sponsorship at the end of your graduate visa; you must also have at least six months until your graduate visa expires at the start of your employment for training and operational reasons.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, to work as a part of our Medical Secretary team within the ENT department located at Royal Stoke Hospital. The post holder is required to provide comprehensive secretarial support, waiting list management and administrative support to medical and nursing staff within a specialty team.

Candidates should possess a professional attitude towards their work and have the ability to work flexibly in a busy environment. You will be required to work as part of a team, as well as being able to use your own initiative and prioritise your workload to meet deadlines.

You will be responsible for the management of your own workload, working closely with other Medical Secretaries, Consultants and the Management Team.
