A leading engineering firm in the United Kingdom is offering a Mechatronics Apprenticeship Scheme starting in September 2026. This program combines mechanical and electrical engineering with robotics, offering extensive training opportunities at a dedicated site and on-the-job experience. The ideal candidate will have at least four GCSEs including maths and science. The role includes competitive benefits such as 33 days holiday, access to a pension scheme, and on-site health facilities.
Start Date - September 2026, typically for 48 months
Starting Salary - Circa £16,000
Minimum Entry Criteria -You’ll need at least four GCSEs or equivalent, including Maths, English and a relevant scientific/technical subject at C/4 or above.

For the first year of the apprenticeship, you’ll mainly train at our dedicated training partner's Coleg Cambria, Deeside site, with half terms being based at JCB Transmissions. Year 2 you’ll spend 4 days per week at JCB Transmissions and day release at Deeside. The final 2 years you’ll be mainly based in JCB gaining on the job experience.
