Our Bishops Stortford based client is a leading provider of medical equipment. They are currently seeking key personnel to join them across a range of Electro Mechanical / Assembly / Wiring positions.

Please let us know your related skill range and knowledge in electro‑mechanical / wiring and other necessary disciplines such as plumbing, metalwork, electronics, plumbing and mechanical assembly. Knowledge of pneumatic systems is an advantage when assembling, handling and processing production‑built medical machinery to ensure quality and productivity are maintained.

The site has modern working conditions which are at the forefront of Kaizen and lean manufacturing techniques, incorporating a teamwork ethos.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical / Electro Assembler or wirer, the responsibilities will include:

  • Mechanical Assembly and electrical assembly
  • Wiring, soldering and crimping to a high standard
  • Use of hand tools, including electrical hand tools
  • Reading wiring diagrams and understanding exploded diagrams
  • Building from kits with trolley‑based hand tools

This is a medical clean manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and products, with lifting duties up to 20 kg.

Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4 pm.
