Job summary

A global aerospace and defence organisation in Marham is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a 12-month contract. The role involves performing maintenance on F35 aircraft, ensuring compliance with technical standards, and maintaining airworthiness records. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in EASA/MRP Part 145 and familiarity with military aircraft. Qualifications

  • 2 years' experience of working within the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145.
  • Experience of working on complex military aircraft programmes.
  • Ideally fast jets knowledge but will accept other aircraft including helicopters.

  • Ensure all activities are appropriately documented.
  • Maintain all airworthiness records.

Rate

£31.34 per hour inside / Umbrella

The Role

Reporting to the F-35 Aircraft Maintenance Manager the post holder will be undertaking a range of maintenance activities on F35 aircraft or aircraft components.

Duties

The successful candidate will be required to perform tasks suitable to the internal level of this role.

The role will contain, but will not be limited to, the following:

  • Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with the Approved Technical Information and relevant risk assessments.
  • Ensure all activities are appropriately documented and that all airworthiness records are maintained.
Knowledge & Skills
  • 2 years' experience of working within and the practical application of EASA/MRP Part 145.
  • Experience of working on complex military aircraft programmes.
  • Ideally fast jets knowledge but will accept other aircraft including helicopters.
