Overview

Reporting to: Workshop Manager
Department: Mechanical
Location: Enfield

Are you a Car Technician with 7+ years of experience, a great problem solver, and driven to set and exceed targets? If so, this role may be the right fit for you. We have an opportunity for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician to lead our in‑house mechanical team for the new Car Supermarket’s fleet of 1,500+ used cars in Enfield.

You will receive a state‑of‑the‑art workshop and the opportunity to build your own team of mechanics as we grow. Your focus is on delivering high‑quality results with a "First Time Fix".

Responsibilities

• Oversee a team of mechanics
• Service, diagnose, and repair a fleet of mixed vehicles to the highest manufacturer standards
• Carry out road tests when required to confirm diagnosis and operation
• Ensure workspace and tools/equipment are maintained to a high standard

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a vehicle technician
• Own tools to be stored in a secure tool box provided by us
• Understand and comply with health and safety standards
• Full and valid Driving Licence

Bonus Requirements

• NVQ (or equivalent) in Motor Vehicle Technology Lvl3+

Compensation

• Basic Salary: up to £60,000 (depending on experience) – £80,000 OTE
• Performance bonus

• Annual holiday: 28 days

Working Hours

• Option 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm – Every other Saturday
• Option 2: Monday to Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm – Every other Saturday

Location

Enfield, EN1 1UD – reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
