Job description

Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Head of Marketing and working alongside the Partnership Manager, Digital Content Manager, and the Customer Liaison Manager, the role of Marketing Executive is to support the marketing department across a broad range of customer‑focused marketing work as part of providing centre management services at Highcross Leicester.

The role will support the marketing team to deliver compelling campaigns and a regular programme of activities to drive centre visits and excellent visitor experience, in‑line with the centre’s annual marketing strategy and tactical delivery plans.

Digital marketing is key to the centre marketing strategy and this role will involve a majority of digital marketing along with elements of traditional print marketing.

The role will support in strengthening stakeholder relationships and provide admin support for the marketing team, assisting with POs, reporting and evaluation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head of Marketing, Partnership Manager, Digital Content Manager and Customer Liaison Manager to deliver the marketing tactical plan.
  • Work alongside the Events Executive in developing and promoting the exciting annual calendar of events.
  • Work with the Digital Content Manager in delivering the centre’s digital marketing tactics – including ensuring the website, social media channels and e‑communications remain fresh and up to date.
  • Work with the Customer Liaison Manager in delivering and promoting best‑in‑class visitor experience.
  • Develop content ideas and identify trends across social media channels.
  • Ensure that monthly and weekly reporting is completed.
  • Build good relationships with the centre’s retailers through regular face‑to‑face visits, raising awareness of marketing campaigns, the support we offer and opportunities we provide.
  • Support with budget management.
  • Support with the delivery of the void activation strategy.
  • Provide briefings to colleagues on marketing activity.
  • Support with ensuring brand guidelines are met at all times.
  • Develop agency relationships.
  • Provide admin support to marketing team, including raising POs and compiling reports.
  • Work on centre specific projects where required.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

  • Relevant marketing experience – with a good working knowledge of social media.
  • Project management experience.
  • Proven interpersonal skills, equally able to engage, influence and motivate individuals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven team player and ability to work alone. Able to maintain close working relationships with the stakeholders where applicable.
  • Good Microsoft skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of Highcross Leicester.
  • Junior marketing, communications or customer service experience or related qualifications or training.
  • Experience of using online platforms such as Sharepoint for filing and management of project folders.
