Job description

Are you looking to build a career in the marine industry? Do you enjoy variety, responsibility, and working as part of a dedicated team? If so, this could be the perfect role for you.

Premier Marinas is seeking a Marina Operative to join our friendly and professional team at the beautiful Chichester Marina. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a stunning environment where no two days are the same. With full training provided, you’ll develop valuable new skills while helping us deliver the exceptional customer experience we’re known for.

This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role involving a range of duties across the marina. You’ll work as part of a rota, which will include some weekends, evenings, bank holidays, and occasional night shifts.

What we’re looking for

We’d love to hear from you if you are:

  • Friendly, customer-focused, and confident communicating with a wide range of people
  • Positive, enthusiastic, and happy to work as part of a team
  • Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in a busy marine environment
  • Reliable, adaptable, and keen to learn new skills
  • Able to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Flexible with working hours, including evenings, weekends, and nights when required
  • In possession of a full UK driving licence
  • Boating or marina experience is an advantage—but not essential, as full training will be provided

Experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential. Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.

What we offer

Premier Marinas offers a competitive salary and pension, access to an online GP, Private Medical Cover, free onsite parking, uniform provided, annual leave incl. additional birthday leave and other benefits, alongside training and development opportunities delivered through our dedicated online academy.

If you’re excited about this role but your past experience doesn’t align perfectly, we encourage you to still apply. Full training can be provided, and you may be just the right candidate for this or for any other roles we have – apply today!

We believe that diversity makes us stronger. We will treat all applicants equally and with respect irrespective of their age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
