Job summary

A leading aerospace engineering company is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer in Cheltenham. The role involves improving formboards and authoring build routings to comply with specifications. The ideal candidate should have a degree in a relevant engineering field and experience in manufacturing, preferably in aerospace. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are essential. This position offers a competitive rate of £50/hour for a duration of 12 months inside IR35 regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor support role, ideally in aerospace.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Essential Responsibilities

• Improve Formbards to comply with drawings and build process, Author and modify build routings for power products

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Electrical, or related engineering field (or equivalent experience) Experience in a manufacturing or shop-floor support role, ideally in aerospace or other regulated industry. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and specifications. Experience creating or updating technical work instructions; familiarity with CAD tools for layouts. Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills.
