A leading innovation organization in Sedgefield seeks an experienced Electronics Manager to provide technical leadership in HealthTech projects. The role involves managing a team, supervising product development, and engaging with stakeholders. Candidates should have a degree in a scientific field, management training, and significant experience in electronics engineering. This position requires at least two days on-site work per week.

CPI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced electronics manager to join our Photonics and Electronics team, providing high-level technical leadership and expertise, managing and developing ahigh-performing team of engineers and production technicians to deliver agreed programmes of work to required standards. The Manager will act as technical lead in medium / large scale projects within avariety of HealthTech fields, such as IVD , wearables, sensor technologies, connectivity and drug delivery devices. The Manager will offer innovative solutions at technology team level (primarily centering around microcontroller based design of wireless and low power sensor systems), contributing extensively to development and improvement activities, identifying and addressing future needs of the team in order to deliver on area strategy.

The Person
The successful candidate will be educated to aminimum of HNC / Foundation Degree level (or equivalent) in aScientific / Engineering discipline, have significant industrial experience at asenior leveland;
