Responsibilities

  • Assist with safety program and conduct emergency drills.
  • Develop inspection schedules and communicate with Facility Manager.
  • Conduct heating and air conditioning maintenance and repairs.
  • Carry out general repair and maintenance needs.
  • Perform plumbing and electrical maintenance and repairs.
  • Respond to alarms and codes according to safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assists with the organization’s safety program including the handling of any hazardous materials and conducting regular fire, disaster, and other emergency drills.
  2. Assists with the development of inspection schedules, anticipates maintenance and equipment needs, and communicates the findings to the Facility Manager.
  3. Conducts routine heating and air conditioning maintenance and repair to include filter changes, clean coils, grease and oil motors, change belts in air conditioning and heating systems on the roof, in patient care areas, and other areas of the building.
  4. Carries our general repair and maintenance needs.
  5. Carries out routine plumbing and electrical maintenance and repair needs.
  6. Responds in a timely manner to alarms and codes in accordance with safety and security policies and procedures.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of high school level reading, writing, and arithmetic, and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Building maintenance experience preferred.
