Job summary

A leading chocolate manufacturer in Banbury is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment availability for production. Responsibilities include emergency response to breakdowns, implementation of maintenance activities, and continuous improvement initiatives. Candidates should have relevant engineering qualifications and preferably experience in a food manufacturing environment. This role offers a 12-hour shift pattern and focuses on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a maintenance department, preferably in food manufacturing.
• Understanding of health and safety legislation and best practice.
• Operational knowledge of risk assessments and lock off procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency response service for breakdowns and implement solutions.
• Perform fault finding and implement corrective actions.
• Undertake Planned Preventative routine maintenance on all equipment.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities.

ONC (or equivalent) in a mechanical or electrical engineering discipline

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
