Summary of role and responsibilities
  • Successfully complete all identified training both in-house and external.
  • Conduct regular inspections, maintenance and testing of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and fire safety equipment.
  • Perform general repairs such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical tasks.
  • Diagnose and resolve building issues, including HVAC malfunctions, plumbing leaks, and electrical faults.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, minimising downtime.
  • Ensure good housekeeping throughout facilities, keeping them safe and in good repair, and maintain common areas and exterior grounds.
  • Assist in setting up and rearranging office spaces, furniture, and equipment as needed.
  • Conduct safety inspections and perform corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
  • Be responsible for onboarding and general supervision of contractors, ensuring RAMs are in place as required.
  • Perform preventive maintenance schedules to keep equipment and systems functioning efficiently.
  • Document maintenance activities and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure all equipment and tools are in good working condition and stored properly.
  • Assist with facility projects, renovations, and installations.
  • Report recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance facility operations.
  • Follow all health and safety regulations and protocols.
  • Assist with other duties reasonably requested, including logistics support as required.
