Maintenance Manager

Location: Reading, Berkshire

Pay: £33,000 – £35,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 45 hours per week

About the Role

Take responsibility for the general maintenance of the property, upkeep of its facilities and management of the maintenance team to ensure efficient job completion and meet guest expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Allocate responsibilities to the team
• Complete daily job list and preventative maintenance schedules
• Meet time deadlines, liaise with contractors and enforce health and safety on property
• Manage health and safety, monitor compliance and audit related tasks.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a maintenance department of a similar quality hotel
• Knowledge of electrics and health and safety
• Excellent communication, organising and hands‑on management skills
• Computer literacy for compliance and audit duties
