Who are we looking for?

Maintenance Engineer at the Ashby-de-la-Zouch site to manage and undertake maintenance of machinery and general site repairs.

What will you be doing?

Carry out planned predictive and preventative maintenance on production machinery (pneumatic pumps, electrical motors, Z Blade mixers, mill machines, etc.), respond to breakdowns to reduce downtime, maintain housekeeping standards, safeguard tools and materials, supervise onsite contractors, arrange work permits, and work at heights up to 12 metres.

Who are You?

• Electrics to 18th Edition or good working knowledge of;
• Previous proven working experience in a maintenance environment;
• Mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge;
• Basic welding and fabrication skills;
• IPAF or equivalent for working at heights;
• SEMA for racking maintenance.

What competencies will you need?

• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work on single and three-phase machinery;
• Understanding of ATEX and its limitations;

Working hours and pattern

40 hours per week: Monday‑Thursday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (30‑minute unpaid break); Friday, 7:00 am to 1:00 pm.
