A leading transportation company is seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Falkirk to perform maintenance tasks, ensuring safe operations and contributing to sustainability efforts. The role demands strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work independently or in a team, preferably with 5 years of experience in factory equipment maintenance. You’ll be responsible for carrying out reactive and proactive maintenance tasks as per the Facilities Maintenance Management System. This includes diagnosing faults, preventing breakdowns, and completing installations as required. You’ll work closely with the Facilities team to ensure critical stock availability and maintain a safe working environment.
We’re looking for a skilled maintenance engineer with strong mechanical knowledge and experience working with factory equipment, including CNC machines and associated plant. You’ll have excellent communication and organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are essential.
