Overview

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Engineer to join our dynamic team, responsible for maintaining and repairing production machinery, ensuring minimal downtime, and upholding health and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have a multi-disciplinary background, strong problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective engineering support to ensure all manufacturing areas operate efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safe working practices for yourself and colleagues in all plant and machinery operations.
• Execute planned maintenance schedules aimed at optimising plant operation and extending machine lifecycle.
• Maintain control of engineering stores to ensure cost-effective backup and smooth operational functionality.
• Conduct repairs and maintenance of all plant, machinery, and ancillary equipment during shifts. Follow Planned Preventive Maintenance schedules and undertake specific projects as directed by the Engineering Manager or other management.

Qualifications

• Relevant Engineering qualification Level 3 or above
• Proven experience in machinery maintenance and repair within a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations in an industrial environment.
