Site Based Maintenance Electrician - Washington - Leading Facilities Management Organisation

CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking an experienced and motivated Maintenance Electrician to join a leading Facilities Management team on a static site in Washington. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and safe operation of all electrical systems across the site, ensuring that building services operate efficiently, safely, and in full compliance with regulations. This role requires strong technical skills, a proactive approach to maintenance, and the ability to deliver high standards of service within a professional facilities environment.

Duties
  • Carry out maintenance, repair, and installation of electrical components, including wiring, circuit breakers, and lighting fixtures.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of electrical systems and equipment.
  • Manage electrical installation projects and ensure all work is completed with the required certifications and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrate strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Possess basic knowledge of building fabric maintenance and minor repair tasks.
Requirements
  • Qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certification held.
  • Previous experience working within the Facilities Management (FM) industry.
  • Previously appointed as an Authorised Person (AP) in one or more of the following disciplines: Low Voltage (LV) Electrical Systems, Mechanical Services, Confined Spaces, Boiler and Pressure Systems.
