Established for over five decades, our company is a respected fastener manufacturing and distribution business based in Birmingham, selling products across the UK and globally. We're currently seeking an energetic professional to join our team and contribute to our flourishing business.

Responsibilities

• Setting & operating a variety of lathes utilizing various tooling.
• Quality inspection of parts using micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
• Working from engineering drawings and international standards.

Job Requirements

• Good understanding of machining and measuring threads of various forms.
• Ability to interpret and work based on engineering drawings in both metric and imperial units.
• Ability to plan and work from own initiative with minimal supervision.
• Applicants must demonstrate attention to detail and reliability.

Compensation & Working Hours

Competitive salary and production bonus.

38.5 hours per week – overtime 1.33 weekdays, 1.50 Saturday.

Work schedule: Monday – Thursday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm (½ hour lunch), Friday 7:00 am to 1:30 pm.

31 days paid holiday (inc. bank holidays).
