Job summary

A local support service in Aberdeen is seeking a Personal Assistant & Relief Staff to support a caring gentleman with cerebral palsy. The role offers £12.60 per hour for approximately 40 hours a month, including flexible days. Ideal candidates should have a caring attitude and good communication skills, with training provided. A PVG check and references are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in supporting individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Good interpersonal skills to engage with the gentleman and his family.

• Assist with communication via Facetime.

A happy, caring gentleman who has cerebral palsy is looking for two staff members to join his small team of support staff.The gentleman is a wheelchair user, has his own vehicle and enjoys outings to coffee shops, catching up for a chat with folk he bumps into, watching medical dramas as well as using Facetime to chat with family members.

If you would like to join a happy team, in a relaxed environment, and support a lovely gentleman to remain independent in his own home, please do get in touch.

Full training will be provided either in house or by training company.Sole working will not be required until training is completed

PVG ( Protecting Vulnerable Groups) will be required
