Join Our Team - Lunchtime Supervisors (x5 Positions)

Location: Hexthorpe Primary Academy, Doncaster
Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 1 hour per day, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Salary: £2,881, - £2,950 pro rata actual salary

About the Role

Hexthorpe Primary Academy is looking to appoint five Lunchtime Supervisors to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a rewarding role, perfect for individuals who enjoy working with children and want to make a positive impact during their school day.

As a Lunchtime Supervisor, you will be responsible for supporting a class during their lunch break—whether escorting them to the dinner hall, supervising them in the playground, or helping them engage in positive play. You’ll work alongside other supervisors to ensure children are safe, happy, and well cared for during lunchtime.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise pupils during lunch in the dining hall and playground.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and play, supporting children to interact respectfully and safely.
  • Take an active interest in pupils as individuals, engaging with them through conversation and games.
  • Teach and lead playground games to promote inclusion and enjoyment.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all pupils at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other lunchtime staff to maintain a calm and structured environment.
