Background

We’re working with an exceptionally well‑run surgery seeking a Practice Nurse to join their friendly, multi‑disciplinary team on a locum basis. The practice is looking for cover for the week commencing 17th November and 24th November, with the possibility of extension into December to help manage a backlog of appointments. This is a great opportunity to work within a supportive and organised environment that truly values teamwork and patient care. Salary £26.00 – £30.00 per hour. Location – Bristol.

  • Training practice
  • Supportive team of GP Partners, Salaried GPs, Clinical and non‑clinical supporting staff

  • 6700 patients

Role
  • Locum Practice / Treatment room Nurse
  • 2 days per week – flex on days Tuesday to Friday
  • Initially w/c 17th and 24th November, with potential to extend
  • Experience in General practice or Primary Care settings is essential
  • Mix of 10 and 20 minute appointments
  • Traditional practice nurse duties incl. Family Planning, Cervical Smears, Minor injuries, General Nursing advice, Dressings/Stitch removals, Vaccinations, Blood pressure checks, Travel advice/Immunisations
  • You must be qualified as a Registered Nurse and be registered with the NMC
