A leading healthcare provider in Birmingham is seeking a proficient echocardiographer to support clinical activities and enhance skills in paediatric and congenital echocardiography. The ideal candidate will receive training and support towards accreditation in this field. Responsibilities include routine clinic support, technical assistance in echocardiography, and contributing to quality patient care within a compassionate environment. The role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth in a recognized institution.
The successful candidate will be proficient in transthoracic echocardiography and ideally hold an accreditation in either EACVI (Paediatric), or BSE Congenital or adult or equivalent. This role is unique because we offer the successful candidate an opportunity to be trained in paediatric and congenital echocardiography, where they do not hold this qualification. We will support them towards passing their examination and collecting cases for their logbook, to be sat with either the EACVI or the BSE. We will fund the accreditation process (the first attempt), according to the examination dates and individual progression the candidate with the logbook after the post has finished (eg. Sign DOPS).
For those who already hold accreditation in congenital echocardiography, it provides an excellent chance to improve your skills and broaden your knowledge.
We will support them towards passing their examination and collecting cases for their logbook. We will fund the accreditation process and continue to support the candidate with the logbook after the post has finished.
