Job summary

A leading media company seeks a Vision Engineer to ensure outstanding picture quality and robust operations for live and recorded programmes. You'll operate camera controls, rig equipment, and align broadcast systems while supporting editing workflows. Candidates should demonstrate a strong working knowledge of studio broadcast facilities, particularly SDI and IP systems. This permanent, full-time role at Broadcasting House offers a salary between £40,000 and £44,000 annually, plus an additional London Weighting Allowance.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable experience of multi camera vision control, or strong interest to develop this skill.
  • Ability to assess picture quality from technical and artistic perspectives.
  • Strong working knowledge of studio broadcast facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Operate camera exposure and color balance controls for high-quality pictures.
  • Rig and support broadcast equipment for studio use.
  • Align and maintain broadcast equipment across SDI and IP domains.
  • Support editing and playout workflows.
  • Deputise for the Vision Supervisor when required.
