A local government authority in the UK is seeking a Lighting Engineer to oversee lighting design proposals, manage budgets, and lead capital investment programmes. The successful candidate will have relevant qualifications and experience with lighting design software, along with strong communication and project management skills. Contract: Permanent
Salary: £47,181 to £48,226 per annum
Hours: 37 hours per week
Location: Cumberland
Join Cumberland Council as a Lighting Engineer and play a key role in shaping the safety and sustainability of our highways and public spaces. The role provides technical advice and expertise, taking responsibility for the review of lighting design proposals from external consultants. You’ll lead the delivery of lighting capital investment programmes and administer procurement frameworks, with responsibility for a budget of up to £2 million.
