Qualifications

Pay: £12.21 to £12.80 per hour (based on experience)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - 40 hours

About our Nursery

The Old Station Nursery Iver, conveniently located on Iver High Street, has been a part of the local community for over 20 years. Iver is a lovely two-storey nursery set within a converted church building, with a well-resourced outdoor area, encouraging an active lifestyle and outdoor play. At The Old Station Nursery Iver, we offer excellent nursery care with the addition of three distinct learning enhancements for our children: child-friendly cooking classes and language lessons, both delivered in a Montessori-inspired way that fosters strong connections between children and the world around them. The nursery is easily accessible with plenty of parking available off street. The staff wellbeing is paramount and all staff are supported well in stepping up to their next roles with tailored training in place to reach best potential in their professional journey. We celebrate the team spirit and are very proud of our wonderful team.

What Your Role Involves

As a valued member of our team, you’ll:

  • Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel safe and thrive.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
  • Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Monitor and celebrate children’s development milestones, keeping records to share with parents.
  • Support the day-to-day running of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
  • Be a team player, offering guidance to apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
