A local educational trust in Ipswich is seeking a Leisure Assistant to provide operational support in the Sports Centre. The role requires a highly motivated individual who is customer-focused with strong communication skills and attention to detail. Three positions available with varying hours. Experience in a Sports Centre and a First Aid qualification are desirable but not essential. The successfully recruited individuals will contribute to the positive environment and help ensure a safe space for students and visitors.

Copleston High School is a popular 11-18 mixed comprehensive noted for its caring and disciplined atmosphere. It was judged as a ‘good school’ by Ofsted in December 2023. As a school we are committed to raising standards of learning and teaching within all subject areas. Applicants will be impressed by the behaviour, ethos and outcomes of students across the school.
We are looking for Leisure Assistants who can provide operational support in the Sports Centre. You should be highly motivated individual, who is customer focussed and has good communication skills with an eye for attention to detail. Experience working in a Sports Centre and a First aid qualification is desirable but not essential.
Post 1: 20.5 hours a week
Post 2: 18.34 hours a week
Post 3: 9 hours a week
Additional hours (e.g. covering staff and school holiday lettings) may be available on an ad hoc basis. Combining posts may be a possibility for the right candidate.
