› › Leicestershire CCC: Academy Administrator (Deadline – Jan 21)Location:Grace Road, Leicester, United Kingdom### DescriptionJ**ob Role:** Academy Administrator **Job Profile:** To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Talent Pathway, ensuring the smooth operation of the Leicestershire CCC Academy Pathway and Early Engagement Programme (U10s– U18s). This role is critical in maintaining compliance, coordinating programmes, and supporting player development. **Reports to:** Head of Talent Pathway **Weekly hours:** 3 days per week (actual weekly schedule to be agreed between Academy Administrator and Head of Talent Pathway) **Roles and Responsibilities:** **Administration & Compliance** • Organise meetings, book rooms, arrange refreshments, and take accurate minutes. • Prepare and issue Academy Scholars’ Agreements using ECB templates annually in October. • Ensure all legal paperwork (contact details, medical forms, consent forms) is completed, updated, and securely stored in compliance with GDPR. • Upload relevant documentation to ECB systems via Smartabase. • Maintain accurate Academy and Pathway databases (approx. 200 players). • Notify ECB of new Academy Scholars and update records annually and as required. • Update and distribute the Academy Player & Parents Handbook annually. • Ensure coaching staff maintain valid First Aid, DBS, and Safeguarding certifications. • Assist, when required, the Head of Talent Pathway in creating reports for CEO / board meetings • Develop monthly newsletter for the LCCC pathway for parents and boys with insights into academy developments/news/information**Programme Coordination** • **Trial Process:** Manage nominations, schedule trials, book venues, produce registers, and communicate results. • **Winter Training:** Book venues, produce and distribute monthly schedules, and assist with PCA and psychology workshops. • **Fixture Programme:** Coordinate fixtures for all age groups, liaise with schools and clubs for grounds, arrange catering, umpires, scorers, and manage travel logistics including hotels.**Finance** • Assist with budget setting and cost analysis for Academy programmes. • Keep a record of costs to run the programme • Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure; raise purchase orders as needed. • Order equipment and liaise with kit suppliers for distribution. • Process expense claims and monitor incoming payments.**Skills & Qualifications** **Essential:** • Strong organisational and administrative skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database systems. • Knowledge of GDPR and safeguarding requirements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.**Desirable:** • Experience in sports administration or youth development programmes. • Familiarity with ECB systems and Smartabase software. • Basic financial administration experience.**Equal Opportunities in Employment Policy Statement** Leicestershire County Cricket Club will ensure that all existing and potential employees receive equal consideration, and is committed to the elimination of unlawful or unfair discrimination on the grounds of gender, race, disability, colour, ethnic and national origin, nationality, sexuality, marital status, responsibility for dependents, religion, trade union activity and age.It is the intention of Leicestershire County Cricket Club that its work force, at all levels, should reflect the composition of the city’s population.
