• 26 weeks paid parental leave after one year and 36 weeks after five years continuous service, regardless of gender.

About the opportunity

• Undertake independent teaching, contribute to a range of teaching and curriculum innovations, support student experience, supervise postgraduate students, and complete unit and course co-ordination duties.
• Contribute to Initial Teacher Education Primary programs, with specific expertise in professional experience.
• Contribute to internal and external University and School activities.

About you

• A completed doctorate in the field of Education or closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated commitment to delivering innovative teaching approaches, assessments, and materials for units and courses.
• Demonstrated record of teaching in higher education, including initial teacher education and/or recent professional practice as an educator in primary school settings.
• Commitment to actively supporting outreach activities for the School and wider University.
• Demonstrated experience building partnerships with local schools and a willingness to work collaboratively with others across teaching and learning and/or professional placement activities.
