Job summary

An educational organization in Rushden is seeking a Learning Mentor and Welfare Support professional to work closely with children and families. The role involves overcoming barriers to learning, facilitating communication between families and school staff, and supporting emotional regulation. The Learning Mentor will assist with improving attendance and safeguarding student welfare within the school environment. This is a full-time position at 32.5 hours per week, 38 weeks a year.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children in an educational or support capacity.
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with families and staff.
  • Ability to support emotional regulation for students.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children, families, and staff to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Maintain regular communication and make referrals as necessary.
  • Support the Senior Leadership team with improving attendance and safeguarding.
