A local government organization in Eastleigh is seeking a Learning & Development Specialist to oversee apprenticeship programmes and enhance staff skills. The role involves supporting managers, managing the LMS, and designing interventions for skills gaps. We are looking for a self‑starter Learning & Development Specialist. You will work within a small team of HR professionals to support managers across all service areas. Your activities will include:
You will have extensive experience providing a varied range of learning and development opportunities and programmes within a medium‑size organisation. You will preferably have experience running apprenticeship programmes and supporting learners.
Experience working with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g. local schools/colleges, apprenticeship providers), ideally within a local government setting, would be a distinct advantage. You will have experience working with aniebs ALM system and excellent IT skills, be confident working independently and be able to give assurance and inspire confidence with managers across the organisation.
