Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years’ experience within a structural engineering consultancy.
• Strong technical expertise across steel, concrete, timber, masonry, and composite materials.
• Proven experience delivering projects from concept through to completion.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage structural engineering design across multiple projects.
• Deliver high-quality technical outputs in line with relevant UK codes and standards.
• Prepare, check, and approve design calculations, drawings, and technical reports.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, architects, and the wider design team.
• Undertake site inspections and provide technical support during construction.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers, offering guidance and technical leadership.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and client meetings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of design processes and quality systems.
